Use For: PRIVATE PROPERTY CONCERNS ONLY

When to Use: Submit this request type for issues/concerns relating to infestations of pests, vermin or mosquitoes on PRIVATE PROPERTY.

What to Expect:

  1. Your request will be closed to be transferred to the Zoning and Code Enforcement system and this 311 Request will be marked as Completed.
  2. An inspector will be assigned within the Zoning and Code Enforcement system and will inspect site for possible Violations within 7 business days
  3. If a violation is found the property owner will be issued a Notice of Violation. (NOV)
  4. The property owner will have 48 hours to correct violations.
  5. If corrective action is not taken the city may contract work to be completed.
  6. If the city corrects the violations, the cost of the work will be billed to the property owner.

Who is Responsible: Private Property owners are responsible for clean-up and maintenance of their property. The city may correct some violations on private property if the owner does not. If the city corrects violations the cost of the work will be billed to the owner.
